The Significance of Warning Lights

Did one or more of your dashboard warning lights suddenly illuminate? You're not alone. Many drivers across the United States have had to deal with pesky warning indicators over the course of car ownership. Here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Roseburg, we can help. Look out for these common lights and more!

  • Low tire pressure - On the assumption that the tire pressure indicator lights up, at least one of your tires needs air. After you've reviewed and expanded your tires, you'll need to drive for a couple of minutes at speeds over 16 MPH to recalibrate the system and turn off the light. If it stays lit, bring your car to our service station.
  • Electric Power Steering - If your electric power steering icon illuminates, it could means that your system isn't working efficiently. Please make an appointment at a service department right away.
  • Low Coolant - Sensors can screen liquid levels in your vehicle, so on the off chance that you are getting this light, you should check your coolant level both at the radiator top and the flood tank.

Bring your car to the Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Roseburg service center if you notice any new icons lighting up on your dashboard. We can service your vehicle and get you all set for your Roseburg, OR adventures.
