Safety Features in Abundance in the New Jeep Cherokee

The all-new Jeep Cherokee has more safety features this year than in recent years, and these are two drivers appreciate.

The Cross-Traffic Alert system is automatically activated when you place the Jeep Cherokee in reverse. If another vehicle is detected to be moving into your path, you'll be alerted with a flashing light on the side mirror and warning message on the information system on your center console screen.

The Pre-Collision Assist system that you'll find in the new Jeep Cherokee was designed to be able to identify if a car or pedestrian is going to get in your path can cause a collision. Your windshield flashes a warning, and if ignored, the brakes are powered by the system to bring your ride to a stop to avoid the crash.
