Believe it or not, folks, but we're now less than one month away from the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. It likely goes without saying why we've been counting down the days here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Roseburg, and now that we've gotten a glimpse of what our parent automaker will be bringing to the stage, the anticipation is palpable.
In case you haven't heard, the 2015 Chrysler 200 will be making its big debut at next month's big event. As fate would have it, someone managed to snap a few pictures of it ahead of time and saw fit to share them online for the world to admire.
From what we've gathered, the next-gen Chrysler 200 will feature a refreshed design scheme that's as elegant as it is intimidating. You've got LED headlights, a shorter hood and trunk, plus smaller overhangs as far as the exterior is concerned. We can only assume that the sedan's new physique ties into the platform that it shares with the 2013 Dodge Dart.
Not only that, but the new interior should also come with high center stacks and some top-notch wraparound dashboard covers. And while we're still waiting for confirmation in regards to what kind of powertrain it will be running on, don't be surprised if the base model is outfitted with a Tigershark 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that's capable of dishing out 184 horsepower when paired to Chrysler's new nine-speed automatic transmission.
So until we hear more from Detroit next month, feel free to gain a base of comparison with a test drive in the 2014 Chrysler 200 at our dealership here in Roseburg, OR. You won't be disappointed.
