For those of you in the greater Roseburg, OR area, who have been waiting to hear about the fate of the Jeep Wranger, you'll be happy to know that is will be sticking around until at least 2018. During that time it is scheduled to receive an exciting model refresh. Also confirmed to remain in the Chrysler lineup are both the Dodge Avenger and Dodge Grand Caravan models.
What exactly can we expect for changes coming to the beloved Jeep Wrangler? The 2014 model will receive a few minor enhancements, one of which is the addition of a whole new array of flashy exterior colors. One of the colors, "Anvil," may already be familiar to many of you as it was featured on the 2013 10th Anniversary Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. In addition to this option, drivers will also have the chance to choose from five other sizzling colors.
The first is called "Copperhead Pearl" and is a deep sandy-red color. Then we have "Amp'd" a vibrant yellow, "Granite Crystal" a deep grey, and "Hydro Blue" an eye-popping blue inspired by the hue used on New Brunswick Hydro Trucks that will definitely turn some heads. Last but not least, the Jeep Brand is bringing back its vibrant and fiery "Flame Red" color to round out the color choices.
As for when these will become available, if you are on the market for one of the new colors you'll unfortunately have to wait until later this year. Although they won't be available when the 2014 Jeep Wrangler initially launches, we'd say it will definitely be worth the wait.
