While the model was absent from the Jeep new model lineup available here at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Roseburg in Roseburg, OR, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee has proven that drivers missed the model in its return, shooting directly to close to the top in terms of month after month sales figures for all new Jeep models. In fact, that model has proven so popular that it is joining the illustrious range of Altitude Edition models, a special lineup from Jeep with sleek and unique exterior finishes that were determined in part by fans of the brand. The Altitude Edition is seriously cool, and we wanted to share all the details on the model here for you today.

In terms of those exterior finishes, the Altitude edition Cherokee model sports a number of stylish touches that result in a stealth-like appearance. Those include, gloss black grille surrounds, roof rails, a lowered and altered front fascia applique, new badging that is unique to the model, a unique DLO (daylight opening), and the whole thing sits on top of eighteen-inch black gloss aluminum five-spoke wheels.

"The unique 'blacked-out' theme of the Jeep Altitude models resonated so well with consumers two years ago that it makes perfect sense to bring them back now, particularly since we have new versions of the Cherokee and Grand Cherokee," said Mike Manley, President and CEO of the Jeep brand.
